Our team consists of a talented and motivated group of graduate and undergraduate students from all over the world who work on cutting-edge problems in construction engineering and management.

Khandakar Rashid (Linkon) is a PhD candidate from Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is working on implementing digital twins for modular building construction and heavy civil construction using various sensing and data analysis methods and simulation and optimization techniques.

Roshan Panahi is a PhD student from Tehran, Iran. He works on applying cutting-edge computer vision techniques to obtain insights from video footage of modular factories and construction sites that can enable automated monitoring and control for construction.

Adam Sunderman is an MS student in Computer Science and has been working to develop a virtual reality process analysis tool for modular construction using the Unity game engine. He brings considerable experience in the trades along with his programming skills.

Helen Iliff is an MS student who is working on developing methods to bring down the energy costs for affordable housing though product and process innovations.

Sachin Gupta is an MS student in Construction Engineering, and he has been working to develop methods to automatically quantify debris amounts from LIDAR scans to enable recovery after disasters.

Manjunath Kadalli is an MS student in Construction Engineering, and he has been working to identify suitable technologies to help mitigate the work zone intrusions.

Fabricio Costas is an MS student from Brazil. He works on applying machine learning techniques to optimize the performance of high-rise building construction.
